Upper Room New Testament Ministries

“The Spirit of the
Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has
anointed Me  To preach good tidings to
the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the
captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of
vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,

To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for
ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of
heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the
Lord, that He may be glorified.”
— Isaiah 61:1-3

The Symbol of Upper Room New Testament
Ministries (“URNTM”) was given Pastor Jackie C. Hilliard, Jr., Founder and Lead Pastor, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The design of the Official Seal of the Ministry was created in 2015 and adopted by the Upper Room N.T. Ministries Board of Directors in 2017.
All three members of the Godhead are represented at the heart of the seal.

- Wood-grain shield symbolizing the Cross of Calvary, the greatest expression our Father’s love towards us.
- The Ark of the Covenant is inscribed with the date on which we first assembled as a ministry, July 5, 2015, in Roman numerals. The Ark represents Heaven on Earth (God’s manifested presence) in keeping with the mission of Upper Room New Testament Ministries, Inc.
- The Trinity Symbol Ablaze represents the Love and Grace of God that burns deeply at the core of all we do as the Church to minister to the needs of the triune Man’s— Body, Soul and Spirit.
- The Broken Bread has a two-fold meaning, first representing our lord and savior Jesus Christ and second the sweet fellowship and communion experienced in Koinonia.
- The Rain in the background is representative of Pastor Jack’s undying love for the Harvest Church Ministries, Inc. church family and leaders, the Church of God In Christ, Inc. and lastly the Latter Rain or the End-time Harvest they both shall see before the Lord’s return.
- The Crown of seven jewels are representative of each of Pastor Jack and Lady Mai’s children; Anthony Louis, Trevon Jamal, Dequante Alijondro (Ashlee & Aali’yah (granddaughter), Breanna Marie, Breyana Monei, Steven Kekoa and Andrew Makakoa. Family
is our first and foremost ministry. Our marriages and families are the key to the foundation, stability, peace, wealth and progress of all we hope to
accomplish in the world for our God. At the base of the crest lies a Maile-Lei, a lei also referred to as the Royal Lei for its symbolism of honor and respect, it is a tribute to Lady Maile G. Hilliard.
- The Last two elements of the crest are the lions and sun. The lions and sun represent the majesty and sovereignty of our Christ, who came as the expressed image of our invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible. He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead — that in all things He may have preeminence.

In the Upper Room

The message of our great logo quickly reminds us that no matter who “you are,”  which includes everything you may have done or experienced,  is not beyond the reach of our loving Father, which He put on full display at Calvary’s Cross.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 NASB

"For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:6-8 NASB

Love is the foundation of all that we do at The Upper Room. Out of this same love with which we are saved, we extend to our fellow man, no longer seeing one another through the narrow eyes of our humanity but instead through the wide outstretched arms of our Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that there is no greater display of true love than the Cross.

The four steps on our logo represent the four pillars of the ministry: koinonia, faith, hope and love.

Koinonia
from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the Koinonia proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.
Ephesians 4:16 NASB

Faith
This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring
up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
Ephesians 4:13 NIV

Hope
For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
Ephesians 4:4 NLT

Love
Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.
Ephesians 4:15 NASB
